As a family of Bujuuko, we shall remember this day for the wonderful things God has done for us. We thank the Lord for this precious gift. We shall always handle our Parish with care and promise to move in line with the Holy Roman Catholic Church. It is a precious gift because we have waited and worked for this Parish since 1947.

A credit goes to our ancestors who already in 1947 had a vision that this will one day be a parish. We are now witnessing this golden vision. The Lord is really good.

Friends in Christ, we have a reason to rejoice. We are graduating from being a sub parish to a PARISH. It is indeed a great favour from God. It is on this note we extended a vote of thanks to our dear Mother Muduuma Parish for nurturing us and allowing to bear us. We extend our heartfelt and profound gratitude to the Archbishop. His Grace Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga for his unwavering support; moral, spiritual, financial and material support accorded to us.

To my brother priests and religious especially the sons and daughters of Bujuuko, we are proud of you. To all priests who have served in Muduuma at one time thank you for always encouraging the laity of Bujuuko. It is because of your encouragement that the candle kept burning.

To you friends from other parishes, especially Kiwaatule your work in construction is so big. Thank you indeed. And to all people of goodwill, may the good Lord reward you. Beloved Parishioners of Bujuuko, as we renew our call as Christians, we have to fasten our belts. We are now a parish and we have to conduct ourselves as a parish with all the challenges which lay on our way. Among them we have a task of building a modern church which fits the modern times. In line with this, even the sub parish churches need immediate attention. Our schools also need attention and we also have a task of funding a project which will cater for our Parish. Working as team has seen us achieving more. If we continue with this spirit, we can look at the sky as our limit.

In renewing ourselves, we also have a task of going back to our roots, as instructed by the church. Deep evangelization will also help us to know our heritage and to be steadfast in faith.

Tujjukire, Tujaguze, Twezze buggya nga tunyweeze obukristu.

Fr. Anthony Bbaale. Parish Priest - Bujuuko Parish

My soul proclaims the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my saviour for his goodness to us and for all the graces that he bestowed upon us as a congregation of Mary Reparatrix. It has been such a wonderful experience that each time we go back to these historical memories since the arrival of our Sisters in Uganda (The Pearl of Africa), I find a deeper meaning of what we are called to be.

CONGREGATION IN UGANDA (1913-2013) Congratulations upon 100 years of love in Uganda! All of us are called to love. Question is, have we been successful? When God created Eve, Adam was very happy to have someone like him, "At last, here is one of my kind”, Genesis 2:23. It would follow that they would love one another automatically. This was not the case and God had to give commandments to guide humanity on the course of love.

It is with great joy and thanks to God that we celebrate the missionary zeal that brought the first four Reparatrix sisters to African lands. They were responding to the spirit entrusted to us by our Mother Foundress, Blessed Mary of Jesus, as she explains in her letter of the 2nd of July: "Without fearing either dangers, sufferings, or fatigue, we will therefore go wherever the charity of Jesus Christ is pleased to call us, and, protected by Mary our Mother, devote ourselves with joy to the service of our Lord, crossing the seas to make known in the most distant countries the name of Jesus, his mercy and love..." (ST - Letter July 2, no. 13).
