Almighty and Everlasting God, as we prepare to celebrate our Archdiocesan day, we thank you for the gift of our Archdiocese. We thank you for all the Archbishops who have been our leaders and shepherds since the beginning of this Archdiocese. We thank you for the gift of our priests, religious, catechists and all our leaders on different levels, who guide us in the apostolate of our Archdiocese. We pray for our Archbishop His Grace Paul Ssemwogerere and all his plans and programs for building up and developing the Archdiocese both spiritually and materially. We pray that you may assist him in the responsibility of leading your flock with which you entrusted him. We also pray for all our priests who assist him, together with all the religious and the entire Christian community; strengthen us all in the faith and in love, that we may work together to build up your kingdom in this world. We humbly pray, that you increase in us the grace of Faith, Hope and Charity especially as we strive to fulfill our duty of proclaiming the Gospel and of building up the Church that moves together. We pray for all the sick, the elderly and all those who are going through difficult challenges, that you may assist and console them.

We pray for all our deceased Archbishops, priests, religious, catechists and all the Catholic faithful of our Archdiocese, that you may grant them eternal rest. May we celebrate our Archdiocesan Day worthily, fully guided by your Holy Spirit. We ask all these through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son, who lives and reigns with you, and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
