The Child Safeguarding and Protection Department of the Kampala Archdiocese is committed to protecting the well-being, dignity, and rights of every child. Inspired by Biblical teachings and Catholic values, our work is guided by Uganda’s child protection framework and international standards, including the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Our department works collaboratively with clergy, volunteers, parents, educators, and communities to create safe environments for children. We offer training, resources, and support to empower stakeholders to recognize and respond effectively to safeguarding concerns.
