Our Consultations diary

On Wednesday, 9th March 2022, the Archbishop of Kampala, His Grace Paul Ssemogerere held a Synodal induction and Consultation for the Archdiocese of Kampala Synodal Team in Lubaga Cathedral. He urged the Archdiocesan Synodal Team to follow the synodal path of Prayer, consultation, listening and discernment.

On Monday, 14th March 2022, the Archbishop of Kampala, His Grace Paul Ssemogerere met all the Priests of the Archdiocese for a Synodal induction and consultation at Pope Paul VI Memorial Hotel, Ndeeba Kampala. The Archbishop emphasised that the synodal consultation process would be done at all levels: individuals, families, Small Christian Communities, Sub-Parishes, Parishes, Deaneries, Vicariates and that various categories of people will be consulted and listened to: Pastoral agents, clergy, lay leaders, professionals, non-Catholics, members of Association and Movements.

On Thursday, 17 March 2022, the Superiors and Representatives of all the Communities of the Religious working in the Archdiocese of Kampala had a synodal induction and consultation at Pope Paul VI Memoral Hotel. In his message delivered by the Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Kampala, Fr. Pius Male, His Grace the Archbishop of Kampala, Most Rev. Paul Ssemogerere reminded the Religious men and women that their religious communities find the deepest reason for existence in the mystery of Trinitarian communion and that the synodal process is an invitation to build with conviction and joy the style of communion after the Trinity, that is so necessary and fruitful for the Church and for society.
