Nswanjere Junior Seminary
Nswanjere Junior Seminary was founded in 1964 by Archbishop Joseph Kiwanuka to act as a nursery bed for priestly vocations. That’s why it is popularly known as the “Kalimiro (Nursery bed)”
The Motto of the Seminary is; Regi – Regum – To The King Of Kings.
Mission: To offer integral education to the boy child, based on Catholic doctrine and moral values.
The Seminary celebrated her Golden Jubilee on 2nd February 2014.
Catholic boys between the ages of 9 and 13 years are admitted in Primary four, and Primary five to not only help them decern their calling to the Priesthood but to mould them into all-round, academically competent, morally upright and spiritually sound citizens of society.
The current administration is composed of 3 resident priests namely; The Rector – Rev. Fr. John Bosco Kiggundu, The Vice Rector – Rev. Fr. Godfrey Kyeyune and the Spiritual Director Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Mukukule.
The Seminary is located 32 Kms on Kampala Mityana Highway.
