Brief Introduction
SAAFU is an acronym for “Ssabasumba Annual Appeal Fund”. It was established by His Grace Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga the Archbishop of Kampala in 2007.
Ssabasumba Annual Appeal Fund (SAAFU) is our opportunity to support the work of the Church in Kampala Archdiocese. It requires thousand of generous contributions/gifts to help provide the programs and services offered by the Archdiocese in turn ensuring viable Parish communities. Parishes are often able to handle many of their needs; however, some unmet needs are beyond their capabilities and resources. In the spirit of cooperation we can reach across Parish boundaries as a community to fill the void for those needs.
